Description
This watercolor features a black macaw with feathers in varying colors of blacks and blues. A pop of red by the beak. Metallic ink is also a feature of this piece. Select feathers have either silver or blue ink. When I began the piece, I wasn't a fan of it, so I added water all over it blending all the colors together. This is partly what created the background. After seeing what was done, I was instantly inspired to create. This piece is also the inspiration to how I currently paint. I just love it.
